One of the biggest surprises at this year’s E3 conference was the surprise announcement of an entirely new spin on the Resident Evil franchise. I’ve been playing these games since they days of the Sega Saturn, and I’m not sure that I’ve ever been more excited for an entry. While the demo released at E3 has perplexed gamers for months, Capcom has now released a new look at Resident Evil 7 in what it’s calling a “gameplay trailer”. For what it’s worth, this doesn’t appear to be part of the actual game, but it serves as more backstory for fans to latch onto.
