I won’t lie to you, I don’t know much about the upcoming Psychological horror/thriller THE DISAPPOINTMENTS ROOM, but I’m definitely familiar with the players involved; particularly it’s director, D.J. Caruso. His style of directing is dark, and he’s able to really suck you into the feel of the film. The trailer alone will have you in a manic state, much like it’s star, Kate Beckinsale, trying to figure out what’s inside that damn room! If you’re unfamiliar with the man’s work and have never been sucked into a film so much that it gives you the case of the “feels“, then after watching the trailer for THE DISAPPOINTMENTS ROOM, may I suggest checking out a flick or two off Mr. Caruso’s resume? I suggest The Salton Sea.

Written by Television show star Wentworth Miller (Prison Break), THE DISAPPOINTMENTS ROOM is a film about couple and their child who move from the big city, to an old southern mansion, looking for a fresh start, but after finding a room that is not on the blue prints of the house, unusual events begin to happen that test the sanity of the lady of the house.
