Remember when we could just hop aboard a chartered flight with our friends and enjoy an extreme escape room in Russia without a care in the world? Those plans might be on hold for now, but No Escape looks to combine a vlogging adventure gone wrong with a torture scheme akin to movies like Hostel. And it looks like this movie is going to hit all the right marks! The cast is mostly fresh faces, though you might recognize lead actor Keegan Allen from the teen murder drama TV show Pretty Little Liars…or you might not, that could just be me.

This totally justifies my refusal to ever take part in an escape room

The premise feels like the 80s all over again because scary Russians are the bad guys. Only this time the Russians don’t want to nuke us, they want to capture and torture young travelers for sport. And you know what? This totally justifies my refusal to ever take part in an escape room of any sort. I don’t expect No Escape to stray far from the tried and true formulas of its predecessors. Those formulas work for a reason and this looks like a fun addition to the club!

Plot Synopsis
A social media star travels with his friends to Moscow to capture new content for his successful vlog. Always pushing the limits and catering to a growing audience, he and his friends enter a cold world of mystery, excess and danger. As the line between real life and social media is blurred, the group must fight to escape, and survive.
