To the surprise of nobody anywhere, Paramount is working on a sequel to A QUIET PLACE. Studio chairman and CEO Jim Gianopulos told a room of exhibitors at CinemaCon, according to Variety.

“We’re thrilled to say that we’re already working on the sequel to ‘A QUIET PLACE,’” Gianopulos said.

A QUIET PLACE, which is still in most theaters, has grossed $213 million worldwide with $134 million earned domestically. That’s a lot of money in just a little over three weeks for a movie with a budget of $17 million, according to BoxOfficaMojo.com.

While the studio is working on a sequel, no other details were given, which means director John Krasinski may not return behind the camera. Stay tuned for more!
