Mainstream America doesn’t exactly understand the technological tidal wave that is approaching, but I do. Not only do I have various virtually reality headsets laying around the house, but I’m in a rare position where I get to test out many headsets before the public even knows they exist. It’s easy to scoff at the idea of strapping a headset to your face to watch or play something, but I assure you, when done right, there is nothing in the world quite like it. I’ve seen even the largest of skeptics get a big goofy grin on their faces upon stepping into VR for the first time. It is very much the future, and horror is where it shines.
