Us horror nerds get all worked up when it comes to promising new anthology films, the problem is: most of them fail to live up to expectations–so let’s go into Terror Films’ PATIENT SEVEN cautiously.

The good news is that it appears to have a rather fleshed out wraparound segment (the glue of any anthology film) and some decent practical effects. The bad news is that there is some noticeably shoddy CGI on display in the trailer. So to be honest, this one could go either way. Check out the trailer and clip below, and let us know what you think. For what it’s worth, I find the clip to do a much better job at “selling” the film.

Dr. Marcus, a renowned psychiatrist, has selected 6 severe mentally ill and dangerous patients from the Spring Valley Mental Hospital to interview as part of research for his new book. As Dr. Marcus interviews each patient, one by one the horrors they have committed begin to unfold. However, Dr. Marcus soon learns that there is one patient that has been kept from him by the hospital’s administrator.
