MGM and 20th Century Fox have released a brand new poster for their upcoming remake of the cult horror film, Poltergeist. Check it out below:

The studios have taken the iconic clown that plagued your nightmares as child, and places it front and center in this new poster. High Definition/CGI has never looked so damn terrifying. I would advise that you keep this photo away from your children or siblings. Unless you’re a bad brother, like myself, and want to chase your younger siblings around with it while yelling, “I’ll eat your soul.” That works too.

Save it, love it, fear it. All in that order.

Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi, director Gil Kenan and writer David Lindsay-Abaire come together to contemporize the classic tale about a family who learn that their newly purchased suburban home was built on top of an Indian burial ground. Which then leads the the family to being plagued and terrorized by malevolent forces. As the apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.

Poltergeist stars Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jared Harris, Saxon Sharbino, and Jane Adams, along with 8-year-old Kennedi Clements as Madison.

Be prepared to relive the horror May 22, 2015.
