Wow!

I’ll be the first to admit that I can get rather excited at the prospect of a fresh new face in horror doing something new and inventive. We covered Some Kind of Hate recently with an image reveal, and now, we have something much greater to share. The first official teaser trailer for the film has been shared with The Hollywood Reporter just ahead of it’s May 2nd debut at Stanley Film Festival…and it’s a good one.

Clocking in at under a minute in length, nothing is spoiled. Distorted guitars ring-out, senseless acts of violence are portrayed, and a blood covered wall with the words “I did it for you” can be seen. Some Kind of Hate was described to us recently as “…Nightmare on Elm Street and indie drama with a dash of the new wave of French horror films we love from the early 2000s“. And after now spending 52 seconds with the film; I feel as if that hits the nail right one the head.

I may have to rearrange my list for Most Anticipated Films of 2015, because this strikes me in the best way imaginable. If you are lucky enough to be in attendance at the Stanley Film Festival on May 2nd, there is no excuse to miss this one. Until then, feast your eyes on what has to be my favorite teaser in recent memory.
