If you’ve hung around Modern Horrors long enough, you’ve undoubtedly noticed that we have a major soft spot for micro budget horror flicks. Scott Schirmer‘s 2012 debut FOUND is a perfect example of this. And while Schrimer went on to Edit and Produce the insanity known as HEADLESS, his writing often takes a much different approach. Trust me, HARVEST LAKE may look like a bunch of people trippin’ and fuggin’ in the woods around some sort of alien-esque creatures–but i’d place my bets on there being a lot more happening under the surface. Luckily, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out.

Plot Synopsis
Five friends fall under the seductive influence of a libidinous, otherworldly presence that threatens to change their lives forever in this strange and erotic new film from director Scott Schirmer (Found) and producer Brian K.
