After a couple of bad ass posters were unleashed upon us; we are finally able to get a good look at M. Knight Shyamalan’s latest feature film – The Visit.

SURPRISE! It’s a found footage flick….yes really.

Now that you are done rolling your eyes, look below at the official trailer before you write it off. It’s a Shyamalan flick, so you KNOW it’ll be bizarre, and it looks fantastic for a found footage flick. Like…literally. I’m not sure what kind of camera these kids are running around with these days – but this ain’t a run-of-the-mill Sony Handycam.

The Visit is set to hit theaters across America on September 11th.

Writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable) and producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious series) welcome you to Universal Pictures’ The Visit. Shyamalan returns to his roots with the terrifying story of a brother and sister who are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.
