Read the synopsis for SICK FOR TOYS, and it appears you have a relatively straight-forward dinner-party-from hell thriller. The antagonist invites the protagonist over for dinner, and things pop off. But after watching the trailer for SICK FOR TOYS, below, it seems this is far more violent and sinister than your drunk racist uncle at Thanksgiving.

SICK FOR TOYS follows a man named Roy (David Gunning) who accepts a dinner invitation from a woman named Emilia (Camille Montgomery). When he gets there, he meets her brother Edward (Jon Paul Burkhart). That’s when things start to go south for Roy as he learns Emilia and Edward aren’t as hospitable as they appear.

The trailer shows entrails, blood, and bondage – and not the fun kind – as Edward and Emilia have some fun with their very alive present.

SICK FOR TOYS is directed by David Del Rio – this is his first feature-length film. He’s probably most recognizable from in front of the camera, starring in PITCH PERFECT, THE BELKO EXPERIMENT, and SPARE PARTS. Justin Xavier and James Andrew Oster co-wrote the script.

There’s no release date set for SICK FOR TOYS.

The film tells the story of Roy, who accepts an invitation to have Christmas dinner with a beautiful and strangely alluring woman. Once at dinner, he realizes that his date and her oddball brother are not what they seem & he soon ends up fighting for his life.
