With the exception of various reboots and sequels, it’s been a very long time since a slasher film has been given a nationwide theatrical release. Even more rare is such a film getting a first-class promotional treatment. Hell Fest ads have popped up on retailer end caps, YouTube, television, and likely even before the last horror film you watched in theaters. It’s everywhere, so it’s only logical that we’d have one more trailer to share with you before it hits theaters this weekend.

This one comes in the form of a retro “throwback” trailer to the slashers of yore. What do you think? Does this make anyone even more excited for Hell Fest? Maybe want a copy on VHS? You tell us.

Plot Synopsis:

A masked serial killer turns a horror themed amusement park into his own personal playground, terrorizing a group of friends while the rest of the patrons believe that it is all part of the show.
