SONS OF BITCHES is a Swedish short about the Wisconsin frontier just before the turn of the 20th century. A prostitute named Sally (Sandra Zellweger) decides to run away from her daily life into the cold, desolate mountains, but a bounty hunter sent to retrieve her is hot on her heels.

This film looks gorgeous. The movie’s Facebook page says it’s a “Swiss horror western short.” We’ve been following the short film for a while now. It’s nice to see the movie come to fruition.

The movie premiered earlier this year in July at NIFF in Switzerland. There, it earned the Taurus Award for Innovation. SONS OF BITCHES is directed by Arnaud Baur, featuring Zellweger, Raphaël Tschudi and Antonio Buil. Colin Vettier wrote the screenplay.
