Short film enthusiasts may have caught the award-winning short, The Stylist, as it made the festival rounds in 2016. Or maybe you saw it on YouTube or Shudder after that. Regardless, director Jill Gevargizian is back with a feature length expansion.

The concept and character of the original were practically begging to be expanded upon, and the chatter coming out of 2020’s festival run has been incredibly positive. Gevargizian appears to be bringing a fresh and stylish voice to the psychological slasher arena.

For those of us that have been eagerly awaiting this one, we’re finally getting a glimpse with this first teaser trailer. The clip doesn’t give up much as far as plot goes, but the visuals are stunning. Gevargizian brings back the short’s lead actor, Najarra Townsend (Contracted, Wolf Mother), for the full length film, and Brea Grant (After Midnight12 Hour Shift) is certainly an exciting addition to the cast. Check out the teaser below, and let us know what you think.

The Stylist streams on Arrow starting March 1st, 2021
