With Millennials reviving the RV market, possibly in preparation for the next housing crisis, RV-related horror is also seeing a resurgence. The Toybox is about an RV trip gone wrong where a family tries to reconnect on the trip but soon discover the RV is home to a sinister past.

The Toybox, directed by Tom Nagel and written by Jeff Denton, looks reasonably benign; however, the trailer flashes several gruesome, bloody, and violent images once the RV’s deadly secrets begin killing off the family members one by one. The special effects look stellar, evoking images reminiscent of Alexandre Aja’s The Hills Have Eyes remake in 2006 – and that’s not a bad thing at all.

The Toybox stars Denise Richards, Mischa Barton, Jeff Denton, and Brian Nagel. The Toybox hits select theaters Sept. 18, according to IMDB.

Plot Synopsis
