THE WITCH IN THE WINDOW looks like the tale of a father and estranged son who begins work restoring an old farmhouse. However, as they continue to make repairs, a malevolent spirit living in the house becomes stronger – so strong, the father doesn’t know if he can protect his son.

The trailer, more of a teaser than anything, doesn’t give away the scares. Instead, it builds a compelling, complex relationship between the father Simon, played by Alex Draper, and the son Finn, played by Charlie Tacker. THE WITCH IN THE WINDOW has our attention based on its focus on the relationship. Parenting is a wondrous thing, but it comes with great apprehension and fear, which looks like the focus of the film.

THE WITCH IN THE WINDOW is written and directed by Andy Milton (YELLOW BRICK ROAD, WE GO ON). THE WITCH IN THE WINDOW is coming soon to Shudder, so keep an eye out for it.

When Simon brings his twelve-year-old son, Finn, to rural Vermont to help flip an old farmhouse, they encounter the malicious spirit of Lydia, a previous owner. And now with every repair they make – she’s getting stronger.
