We’ve all been there: that moment of sheer panic that takes over once you realize you’ve misplaced your cell phone. Luckily, modern technology has put in failsafes for our clumsy asses. These can be great for recovering your device from a public park bench or to realize you left it in a department store dressing room… but I can almost assure you that nothing good will come from trying to recover a device from an unfamiliar household. In case you needed proof, Darrell Wheat and team went ahead and made a movie for us detailing how it is sure to play out.

RECOVERY is set to hit VOD platforms on October 28th. Limited theatrical screenings will be available a day early on the 27th. Check out the official plot synopsis and trailer below for what looks to be surprisingly tense for such a simple (and slightly goofy) concept.

Plot Synopsis
The night before their high school graduation, Jessie and her friends are guided by a ‘Find My iPhone’ app to recover her lost device from a house whose demented tenants are hell bent on making her a flesh and blood member of the family.
