Director Anthony Stabley may not be a name that you immediately recognize, and while he’s been involved in the film industry for many years, Stabley’s experience in the director’s seat is somewhat limited. After one look at his upcoming film Everlasting though, you might find that hard to believe.

Everlasting follows a high school filmmaker that receives an envelope and video tape after his girlfriend is murdered in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles. The film’s trailer clocks in at less than two minutes long, but it’s able to accomplish an awful lot in that space. You get a tragic love story, glimpses of psycho sexual photo shoots, flashes of violence, and an admittedly impressive look at the film’s cast. Names like Pat Healy, Robert LaSardo, Guinevere Turner, Mark Sherman, Valentina de Angelis, Adam David, and Elisabeth Röhm round out an otherwise relatively unknown cast.

The film simply looks like pain, and I can’t wait to see more. We’ll keep you updated on all things Everlasting as the news comes our way. Until then, have a look at the official synopsis, still images, and trailer below:

A High School Filmmaker travels to Los Angeles to confront the man who murdered his girlfriend.
