If you’ve been following Modern Horrors for a while, then you’ve undoubtedly heard us talk about You Are Not Alone [Review] on multiple occasions. I called it “the most terrifying and lifelike slasher that I have seen in years“, and I stand by that to this day. At the end of the day we’re horror nerds, and we can’t help but get excited about a particular release from time to time. We’ve been anticipating release information regarding this film for quite some time, and now we finally have a release date for our friends in the UK.
February 22nd is the date that you can experience a first-person assault like never before. Watch it alone…in the dark… with your phone off. Do everything you can to become the person who’s eyes you are seeing through. If you do that – you will be greatly rewarded.
For our friends in the United States – we expect release info this summer. Perhaps close to the July 4th setting of the film? That’d be nice. For now, read up on the details below from the folks over at Sharp Teeth Films.
You Are Not Alone is available for pre-order from Amazon UK right >>HERE<<.
A masked killer terrorises a small American town over the Fourth of July weekend in a heart-pounding narrative that echoes the classic slasher movies of the 1970s and ‘80s, such as HALLOWEEN and THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN, but adds an immersive, modern twist.
Synopsis:
An idyllic summer day turns into a living nightmare …
With school finally over, college graduate Natalie Wilner returns to her hometown to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend. But beneath the flags and fireworks lurks a dark, malevolent figure. After a night of drunken parties, she stumbles home and drifts off to sleep, only to be woken moments later by a loud knock on the door.
