In 2014, Unfriended took an unconventional approach to the found-footage genre. The movie is told almost entirely through computer screens. Next month, the sequel, Unfriended: Dark Web hits theaters. While the movie follows the same style as the first movie, the plot adds the Dark Web to the mix.

In Unfriended: Dark Web, a teen takes ownership of a new laptop that the previous owner desperately wants back. The teen and his friends he’s interacting with through the laptop soon discover the owner is watching them.

Stephen Susco (The Grudge, The Grudge 2, Texas Chainsaw 2) writes and directs the movie. Check out the trailer below. Unfriended: Dark Web hits theaters July 20.

A teen comes into possession of a new laptop and soon discovers that the previous owner is not only watching him, but will also do anything to get it back.
