Did you know there’s a new horror anthology currently being released for FREE over on YouTube? Neither did we, but then filmmaker James Morris dropped us a line earlier this afternoon to dish out some details on THE WITCHING SEASON. Aptly described as “Goosebumps for Adults”, the series currently has 3 episodes with the 4th and 5th already in pre-production. Did I mention they’re available to stream in 2k and 4k resolutions? You guys know that makes the nerd in me happy.

And I know what you’re thinking… “it’s free, how good can it be?”. I’ll put it this way: we’ve been sent countless feature films and anthology collections over the lifetime of Modern Horrors, and I’ve often wondered how some of them get formal distribution. THE WITCHING SEASON has been the exact opposite. And while it may be bit rough around the edges at times, it’s leaps and bounds above many of the films we’re sent on a regular basis. Better yet?
