I’m a sucker for a good old-fashioned “cabin in the woods” flick, and it looks like Death Trip will be the latest release to scratch my itch. Serving as the feature film debut for Kelly Kay and James Watts, Death Trip trades in the super natural possessions and demonic entities in favor of something far more terrifying–humans!

While the trailer itself is rather enigmatic, it certainly sets the stage for a group of friends being isolated and tormented by someone during their remote winter vacation. Maybe it’s the girl next door. Maybe it’s the townsfolk. Either way, it looks to be a promising debut that I’m excited to have a closer look at.

Death Trip is set to be released on February 16th courtesy of Gravitas Ventures. We hope to have a full review in the coming days, so hang tight and check out the trailer until we know more.

Four friends take a cottage trip in the dead of winter. During their stay, they discover dark details about the neighboring cottagers. After one of the friends is found mutilated, the group worries they’re being targeted by angry locals.
