There has been a lot of praise heaped upon Anything For Jackson coming out of the festival circuit, including from our own Luke Rodriguez. Now the rest of us finally get a trailer and a glimpse of what people are raving about. Grief and loss will make you do crazy things, and it looks like the elderly couple in this film have decided to take the satanic ritual approach after losing their only grandchild. The trailer doesn’t give us a peek at any of the effects or demons that seem to be in store, but it absolutely brings the atmosphere. This is billed as a horror comedy–although it sure looks like it’s going to have a lot more screams than laughs.

Anything For Jackson premiered on October 28th on Super Channel Fuse and is now available on Super Channel On Demand. No US release information has been made available. We’ll keep you updated.

After losing their only grandson in a car accident, grief-stricken Audrey (Sheila McCarthy) and Henry (Julian Richings), a doctor, kidnaps his pregnant patient with the intentions of performing a “reverse Exorcism”, putting Jackson inside her unborn child. It doesn’t take long to figure out Jackson isn’t the only ghost the grandparents invited into their home. Now it’s a race against time for the couple, as well as the pregnant woman to figure a way out of the haunting they’ve set upon themselves.
