We’re still a couple months out from A QUIET PLACE hitting theaters. We got the first trailer all the way back in November, which painted a very depressing yet enthralling movie that was filled with uncertainty and expectation. Now, we have a new trailer for the movie that is slowly telling us major plot points while also highlighting several of the possible scares audiences can expect to see in the movie. If you don’t like spoilers, stop reading now and avoid the trailer. If the first trailer excited you, there’s no need to spoil A QUIET PLACE  before you see it.

The new trailer shows a breakdown of the U.S. government and a failed military response. There’s something using sound to hunt down and kill and people, and that thing looks monstrous. Again, the trailer lacks subtitles, and I hope this is something that is carried over to the movie.

A QUIET PLACE stars Emily Blunt (SICARIO, EDGE OF TOMORROW) and John Krasinski (THE OFFICE, 13 HOURS). A QUIET PLACE hits theaters April 6, 2018.

A family lives an isolated existence in utter silence, for fear of an unknown threat that follows and attacks at any sound.
