Films like The Last House on The Left and I Spit on Your Grave tend to showcase some of the worst attributes of the human race. For some reason though, we can’t help but watch. I’m as guilty as anyone. One thing is for certain though, no matter how heinous the acts of violence may be on the victim – that victim more than makes up for it in their inevitable vengeance fueled rampage.

Staying true to that formula, Uncork’d Entertainment will release the applauded spookfest  EVANGELINE, starring The 100′s Richard Harmon, on VOD May 8, 2015, and on DVD June 9, 2015. But they go a step further… the victim actually dies (I think), and is back from the grave to seek her revenge.

Looks like it could be a rare mashup of the supernatural and exploitative films that we have come to love over the last several decades. As always, we’ll keep you posted on all the latest as it becomes available. Stay tuned.

Evangeline Pullman (Kat de Lieva) has just escaped her sheltered upbringing to reinvent herself in college. As she begins to break out of her shell, she attracts the attention of a violent fraternity leader (Richard Harmon) and his two cohorts. Beaten and dumped in the woods to die, Evangeline finds herself trapped in a supernatural nightmare, and she must choose between vengeance and redemption.
