We diagnosed the insanity before here, but now we have a trailer.

Chiller Films, an arm of NBC Universal producing features for select theaters and On-Demand, has released a trailer for DEMENTIA 13, their remake of a 1963 low-budget screamer directed by none other than Francis Ford Coppola. And if you don’t know who he is, open a bottle of good Italian wine and get started. You won’t be disappointed.

DEMENTIA 13 has a nice recipe: estranged families, a creepy old house, buried secrets and an ax. It could make for a horribly delicious dish. Let’s hope so, because the film will be here before we know it. Chiller Films releases it to theaters on October 6th and on VOD and Digital HD, October 10th.

Richard LeMay (Blood Bound, Naked As We Come) is directing and the fear stars Channing Pickett (Redheads Anonymous), Marianne Noscheze (Horror Time), Christian Ryan (Celebrity Ghost Stories), Julia Campanelli (116) and Ana Isabelle (The Eyes, Lost Cat Corona).

Check out the trailer and poster below. Psychologist not included.

A vengeful ghost, a mysterious killer, and a family where everyone has a secret converge in one night of terror in this remake of Francis Ford Coppola’s first feature film.
