This past Sunday, Super Bowl commercial appreciators were treated to a quick teaser trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming new thriller, Old. I was immediately intrigued by the 30 second spot, and I’m already set to see this film the minute it comes out. The clip may be short, but it hits hard! Shyamalan adapted the screenplay for Old from the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters, which is described as a ” profoundly disturbing and fantastical mystery”.

Did I already mention I’m in?

We’re also going to get an impressive international cast including Golden Globe winner Gael García Bernal (Mozart in the Jungle), Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread), Rufus Sewell (The Man in the High Castle), and Ken Leung (Star Wars: Episode VII—The Force Awakens) among others. Check out the clip below and let us know what you think!

Old comes to theaters on July 23rd, 2021
