Mike Flanagan’s (HUSH, GERALD’S GAME, OUIJA: ORIGIN OF EVIL) lost horror movie BEFORE I WAKE is finally hitting Netflix next month. The movie has been marred by distribution problems since it was originally picked up by Relativity Films in 2014.

If you haven’t noticed, three years have passed since the acquisition, and four years since the movie was filmed. Talk about distribution hell. Flanagan’s career has since taken off.

BEFORE I WAKE, written and directed by Flanagan, stars Jacob Tremblay, Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Annabeth Gish, and Dash Mihok. The movie hits Netflix January 5.

You can watch the trailer below.

In one moment they experience the incredible wonder of Cody’s imagination, and in the next, the horrific nature of his night terrors. To save their new family, Jessie and Mark embark on a dangerous hunt to uncover the truth behind Cody’s nightmares.
