THEY REMAIN sets two scientists from an impersonal corporation to study strange and odd animal behavior at the site of a Mason Family-style cult’s compound.

Keith and Jessica’s work goes along like clockwork, the pair gathering evidence, analyzing it, and reporting their findings. Everything changes when Jessica discovers a mysterious artifact. Keith begins having visions and nightmares, turning his sense of what’s real upside down due to an unknown horror.

THEY REMAIN is based on the 2010 short story “-30-“ by Laird Barron. THEY REMAIN stars William Jackson Harper (PATERSON, TRUE STORY) and Rebecca Henderson (MISTRESS AMERICA) as Keith and Jessica. The movie is directed by Phillip Gelatt.

THEY REMAIN opens in select theaters nationwide March 9.
