We first shared news of the now successfully Kickstarted horror game, CAMP SUNSHINE, almost 4 months ago. We even had a chat with part of the development team. And while news on the progression of the title has been relatively quiet as of late, we had a feeling that the boys over at Fossil Games were hard at work. Well, it looks like we were right.

Earlier this morning, we were sent over the entire introductory chapter of CAMP SUNSHINE to share with you fine folks. It’s just over 6 minutes long and does a great job of setting the table for what’s to come. This definitely ain’t a pixel-laden game from your childhood. CAMP SUNSHINE has mutilated bodies, bloody walls, creepy dudes in bear suits, and an insanely awesome musical composition. I’m liking what I’m seeing thus far and can’t wait to get my hands on it. Let’s Play, anyone?

We’ll share additional info with you as it comes our way. Until then, check out the introductory video below:

Camp Sunshine is a full length game and sees you take on the role of Jez (or whatever you’d like to call him) as he gets dropped off at Summer Camp. He awakes in the middle of the night to find his camp deserted and covered in blood as the terrifying Isaac Illerman comes back from the dead to wreak his revenge against the campers!
