Not to be confused with Netflix’s Stephen King adaptation of 1922, 1921 is a haunting period piece from Vikram Bhatt.

From the trailer, which you’ll need to have the captions turned on, it appears that a couple is haunted by the deeds of their past. 1921 appears to have a number of jump scares—at least in the trailer—along with some decent effects.

1921 hits select theaters next month.
