If internet dating has you scared, BAD MATCH will do little to assuage your fears as it takes the idea of a bad date to a terrifyingly new level. This is more than just awkward conversation.

The story follows Harris (Jack Cutmore-Scott) as he swipes his way through a slew of first dates. He eventually goes out with a woman named Riley (Lili Simmons) who wants more than a first-date fling. In the trailer, it shows Harris’ life crumble as Riley’s obsession with Harris goes from clingy to downright creepy. From the trailer, it looks like she ruins his life.

BAD MATCH is written and directed by David Chirchirillo and it will be in select theaters and on demand November 3.

Harris (Jack Cutmore-Scott, ABC’s “Deception”) seems to have it all—a great job at a trendy agency, tons of friends, and an active sex life thanks to a range of dating apps. A believer in the power of a swipe to the right, Harris has mastered the art of a successful first date that never traps him into a second one. But that all changes when he matches and meets up with Riley (Lili Simmons, “Banshee”). Unlike Harris, Riley isn’t looking for a one-night-stand – she’s looking for the perfect match with laser-like focus. At first, Harris just assumes she’s clingy but he is about to find out the truth is something far more sinister.
