Hot on the heels of the second season teaser that was unleashed a couple of weeks ago, Starz has released the official, full-blown trailer just ahead of the show’s presence at San Diego Comic-Con. Oh man, is it glorious.  It should be no surprise, but things don’t remain sunny in Jacksonville, Florida for long. Gore, blood, dismembered limbs, and…puppets? Yup. There will be puppets. Perhaps the best part?  We finally get a peak at franchise vet Ted Raimi, playing Chet Kaminski, Ash’s childhood best friend.  The camaraderie between Campbell’s Ash and Raimi’s Chet looks effortless.  Raimi will be joining regulars Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, and Dana DeLorenzo, as well as new cast members Michelle Hurd and Lee Majors.

Ash vs Evil Dead will be returning to Starz this October. Is it October, yet?

Season 2 Synopsis
The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.
