It’s common to wonder why people don’t just move out of the haunted houses in horror movies, but His House clears that up right away by letting us know that these Sudanese asylum seekers straight-up aren’t allowed to move… or even really complain about their situation. The real life terror of fleeing a war-torn country to seek sanctuary in a completely foreign culture could be horror enough on its own, but the supernatural elements in this trailer look like something out of the darkest nightmares.
