All I ever want for Halloween is a fun slasher with fall feels and scared teens! Lucky for me, I think Netflix’s upcoming release, There’s Someone Inside Your House, is going to deliver. With the producers of Stranger Things and The Conjuring universe on board it seems like a recipe for success.

This also appears to be a bit of a new angle for director Patrick Brice, best know for Creep and Creep 2, and I’m excited to see what he does with it.

The new trailer doesn’t beat around the bush with its influences, buzzing through classic teen horror references including Heathers, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Scream. There are even some Children of the Corn vibes in there, and the font feels very Halloween (1978). This looks like it’s going to be a good one to get October started off right! Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think!

There’s Someone Inside Your House will be on Netflix October 6th, 2021
