September appears to be a cosmic month for horror, after all this is the pregame month to Halloween. The first great offering comes early this month with the highly anticipated Andy Muschietti’s movie adaption of Stephen King’s It.  Make sure to get those tickets in advance because I haven’t seen the horror community this excited for a film in a long time. Speaking of excitement, two months ago the news of The Houses October Built 2 in the works came as a pleasant surprise to most. The even bigger shock was it’s September release date. Not that we are complaining it just gives us something else to look forward to. To add a unique flavor to this month’s genre VOD/cinema collection Darren Aronofsky is too coming out with his new movie Mother!. From the trailer, it’s apparent that he has not diverged far from his style of film. Not a bit of objection on my end, the guy knows how to make a clever and aesthetically pleasing film. September also offers some indie films as well, check out the list and let us know which one you’re most excited about.
